It's Hockey Time Once Again

Well, folks, sure the election is just a week away, but if you're living in Minnesota, this time of year means hitting the ice. Some call it the State of Hockey and if you looked at my calendar over the next 3 months, it's wall to wall hockey and I'm telling you, if I'm not playing or coaching, I'll most likely be watching. Not to mention this is the weekend I'm planning on installing the backyard rink.

I will be doing a picture progress report as I go through the process and that coming this weekend.

See the tricks of the trade... and who might stop by as I transform the backyard into Pine Needle Park.

I'm SO skating at Pine Needle Park this winter! Are figure skaters allowed on the hockey pond? Actually, I wouldn't mind learning how to skate on hockey skates. How at you at TEACHING skating? And not to diss your rink, but have you ever been to the MN Oval???? Wow!

No on the figure skates
Been teaching "kids" to skate for years.
Been to the Oval, and unless I burn down a couple of garages, and remove some fences, this rink is maxed out.
